mumeb123: Born in Harrisburg,Pa.I am the daughter of the inspired pianist and writer/painter, Andre and Lydia Sterste. I know who I am, what I enjoy, where my passions lay, when I need art to make my heart sing and how to do this. I attended The Harrisburg Academy and The Shipley School in Bryn Mawr, Pa. These schools maintained strong art programs when I studied there. I earned top honors in the Arts, I attended the Boston University School For the Arts studying classical fine arts. I graduated from Lesley College, Cambridge Mass. with a B.S. in Art and Elementary Education. I hold dual Pa. certificates in Art K-12 and Elementary Ed. K-8. I studied at the National Academy of Design in N.Y.C. and art associations. In Clarks Summit Pa., I raised 3 children, while participating with Artists for Art, Scranton, Pa. and was juried into the Waverly Community Center shows and galleries. I participated in craft shows and created commission pieces. I studied at Peter's Valley Craft Center and later taught in the Pa. Governor's school for the arts at Keystone College and in several public and private schools. I spend most of my time these days, happily in my studio.
